Coming up in March

On 29th March internationally renowned cellist Julian Lloyd Webber who is Principal at the Birmingham Conservatoire, will introduce both the music and his hand-picked musicians in a unique programme of popular classics – from artists such as Chopin, Mozart, Schubert, Strauss and Tchaikovsky – played and sung by five of the Conservatoire’s finest students.

The students include pianists Domonkos Csabay from Hungary and Luigi Carroccia from Italy, South African soprano Caroline Modiba, clarinettist Luke English and Taiwanese violinist Yu-Mien Sun.

As Principal of Birmingham Conservatoire I want to share the marvellous music-making which goes on there with a wider audience. This is the first showcase we have given outside Birmingham and I am sure the audience will enjoy a fantastic evening of entertaining music from my specially hand-picked students!
