Moulin Rouge! Drive-In
Join us for another 'spectacular spectacular' drive-in!
Due to the overwhelming success of our drive-ins last year, we'll be hosting another two this August. The first will be Moulin Rouge! on Saturday 5th August (details below) and the second is Mamma Mia on Friday 18th August (more information here).
Baz Luhrmann's sumptous story of a young poet who falls for a beautiful courtesan and star of the Moulin Rouge. A story of Truth, Beauty, Freedom and Love.
Our drive-in screening takes place in the main Artrix car park which is just off the A38 (B60 1GN). The car park opens at 7.30pm and the film starts at 9pm so please arrive promptly. The price is £25 PER CAR (we suggest a limit of two people per car as those in the back seat will have a restricted view of the screen) and you will be able to choose from one of three meal options when you book your ticket. Alternatively you can purchase your meal on the night but please arrive in good time if you wish to buy food on the night. The hot food options are Hot Dog & Chips (£5), Veggie Burger & Chips (£5) and Fish and Chips (£6).
You will be greeted on arrival by a member of our Box Office team. You will need to show them your ticket (or collect it) and they will give you more information about the night and our facilities. You will need to present your meal voucher to our food supplier on the night.
The sound for the film comes through personal headsets which will be given to you on the night. If you wish to play the sound into your car, you can plug the headsets into your car radio using an AUX cord. Please note however that this is dependent on the model of your car and Artrix will not be supplying AUX cords.
Artrix bar will be open for the sale of alcoholic drinks, cake, chocolate and popcorn!
If you have any further questions please contact our Box Office on 01527 577330
