Rose Bruford Acting Foundation Course

Rose Bruford Acting Foundation Course

"The Rose Bruford College Acting Foundation course was an incredible experience. It was a challenging, hit-the-ground-running kind of course-- an amazing introduction to the rigors of a full-time drama course and to the British model of training. The tutors really cared about every student's progress, and were supportive, instructive and professional throughout”

This unique Foundation Acting course is a collaboration between Rose Bruford College and Artrix Arts Centre Bromsgrove, and offers conservatoire training within a professional arts setting.

Our 20-week Foundation course is a rigorous and in-depth training, that will give you skills and techniques invaluable either as a preparation for further vocational training at drama school, university (Degree or MA/MFA) or to consolidate existing experience. It provides an opportunity to explore different strands of work either as an actor with text or as an actor musician.

The course runs Monday to Thursday at Artrix and provides a minimum 24 hours of contact teaching per week. Classes are designed to support your development as an actor/actor musician in training, auditioning and future practice in a way that is rigorous and professional. We believe in developing you physically, vocally and imaginatively whilst encouraging an independent and in-depth approach to your work.
