Barnstormers Comedy February 2020
Sit back and enjoy a great Saturday night out as Barnstormers Comedy' compere introduces three top comedians from the London/National stand-up comedy circuit.
Barnstormers Comedy prides itself on finding the funniest, cleverest and maybe silliest comedians out there so a great night of entertainment is guaranteed.
This Month's Line-Up:
MC: Kevin Precious
Kevin is a stand-up comedian, MC, promoter and former teacher. He has performed at top venues all over the country including Jongleurs, Glee, the Stand, the Comedy Cafe, and the Frog and Bucket. Combining his stand-up with tales of his former exploits as a teacher, he toured the nations’s arts centres and theatres with his show Not Appropriate. More recently, he has been performing the show at teacher conferences, and in schools. He is also the co-founder and regular compere at a variety of Barnstormers nights.
Originally from Lincolnshire, Manchester based Pete has been building a name for himself on the circuit as a fantastically funny act over the last few years, mixing fast paced observations and routines with wonderful characterisations. He wears his comedy heart on his sleeve and leaves the audience in hysterics at his misfortunes and frustrations with the minutiae of everyday life.
Off stage, you can listen to Pete on Fab Radio International where he performs the weekly radio show “Bad Nostalgia” with fellow comedian Lewis Charlesworth.
Matt Green was born and brought up in Yorkshire, although lost the accent for career reasons. He now lives in London, also for career reasons.
He has worked extensively as a comedian, actor and writer for more than a decade, performing on screen in BBC Three’s Cuckoo and Channel 4’s Fresh Meat, on radio and in venues up and down the UK and across the world.
'Green has taken a mountain of comedy gold and succeeded admirably into transfiguring it into a set that is sure to dazzle...a must see.' View from the Gods
For over a decade Dan's accessible but childish surrealism has delighted audiences throughout the UK and Ireland. He's also had his grammar corrected by Dutch and German crowds; performed for chubby sweating ex-pats in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Singapore and Thailand, and is one of just two UK comics to play Hanoi, Vietnam.
He's appeared on BBC 2's Brain Candy, Channel 5 at The Store and the Channel 5 Comedy Zone, Radio 2's Stand Up Show and 28 acts in 28 minutes on Radio 4.
‘a favourite with audiences as well as with his notoriously hard-to-please comedic peers' The Guardian
