Barnstormers Comedy January 2020

Barnstormers Comedy January 2020

Sit back and enjoy a great Saturday night out as Barnstormers Comedy' compere introduces three top comedians from the London/National stand-up comedy circuit.

Barnstormers Comedy prides itself on finding the funniest, cleverest and maybe silliest comedians out there so a great night of entertainment is guaranteed.

Line Up includes:

Jay Handley

Jay Handley used to make beautiful sculpted oak furniture before becoming a comedian instead. A decision that has been financially catastrophic. That said he does get to perform all over the country at some of its very best venues including The Glee Club, Jongleurs, The Stand, The Comedy Store & Baby Blue. He has also twice been a finalist/bridesmaid in the Birmingham New Act of the Year Awards. Clearly, what he has lost financially he has gained artistically.

"A top-class comic with a great mix of material...his gags are imaginative, polished and proper proper funny" 4GoodComedians

Marc Lucero

Former market trader Marc Lucero is the proud antithesis of the current crop of skinny jeaned, bright young things currently invading our airwaves. Marc struggles with the complications of twenty first century family life but skilfully avoids falling into the trap of easy rants leaving us with some great, and thought-provoking material. Dave’s Leicester Comedy Festival Silver Comedian of the Year 2013 Winner.

“a laugh a minute” The Times

Scott Bennett

Likeable, with a warm and engaging delivery, Scott is a Yorkshire live wire with an undeniable no-nonsense logic. In demand by many of the big clubs, Scott delivers wry observations on the absurdity of modern living. His debut hour stand-up show About a Roy: Stories About Me Dad was nominated for the highly acclaimed Amused Moose Comedy Award and was selected as one of the top ten shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2015. His second show Leap Year was nominated for Best Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival in 2019 and completed a sell-out run to critical acclaim at the 2018 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

“Fabulous turns of phrase and pungent expressions, superb character creations” Chortle
